We did The Word Became Flesh two years ago as a multi media presentation. My video guy put together a series of still photos as well as clips from the recent Nativity movie. The screens were above the choir and the video ran as we sang. It worked very well; so well in fact that it broke down the resistance to having projection in the Sanctuary and we now have a permanent system that we use every Sunday for announcements, song texts, and scripture readings. The screens are particularly helpful on the carol medleys that include congregational singing. You will need copyright permission for the movie clips or a CVL license.

We did The Word Became Flesh last year. Loved it. It was my first year at the church. We had video through all the narrations. We replaced two pieces of our own choosing in place of two of Dan’s pieces.
I had dancers on the final number (regal - beautiful), Gloria In Excelsis Deo (really lively), and Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus (ballet style - regal). Flowing dresses - purple, set on two levels (floor and stage).
It really went well. I had someone in our church create the videos.

We have used several songs from TWBF in our Living Christmas Tree at FBC Montgomery. We used dancers on "Unto Us a Child" and it was very effective.

I love Dan Goeller music. We too, are doing it for the second time, first time was 2008. It went over so well. Our pastor memorized the narrations and actually tweaked them to fit our congregation.
